Tesseract

Tesseract continues my investigation of the intersection of the still and moving image.

This investigation took place in the forest-encircled cabin and pool. The work holds a particularly sentimental meaning for me, as this was the summer home of my mentor and best friend - a retired professor named Donald. The conversations we had in this serine, almost surreal landscape, examined the nature of space, time, existence, and connection. The work is named Tesseract to pay homage to a wise friend that fueled my passion for the science - and continue my artist exploration of space and time.

My techniques for this work were immersive and included wearable video cameras and video and audio recording devices throughout the forest, cabin and pool.
